Dave Olson

Dave was a member of The Robert Cray Band for 11 years, touring the world and sharing the stage with music legends such as Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Phil Collins, Tina Turner, Huey Lewis, John Fogarty, B.B.King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and many more. Dave recorded 4 CDs with The Robert Cray Band, received 2 GRAMMY awards and multiple Gold and Platinum records. During that time, he also performed on several television shows, such as Saturday Night Live and  The Tonight Show.  MTV and VH1 aired music videos from the band as well. He later recorded and toured with Savoy Brown and Texas Heat.  Dave is currently living in Camillus, NY with his wife and 2 daughters.He has been teaching Drum Set for 15 years.

Kevin Dean

Kevin has been drumming with Brand New Sin, touring the USA and UK since 2002 along side many well knows bands such as Motorhead, Black Label Society, Saliva, Breaking Benjamin, Type O Negative, Clutch, Soil, Mushroomhead, The Cult and more. They have opened for Godsmack, Dope, Chris Cornell, The Deftones, Drowning Pool, Audiovent, Dillinger Escape Plan, and countless others. In May of 2011, Brand New Sin signed a worldwide distribution and marketing deal with Goomba Music and Eone Entertainment, releasing their 5th full length album in fall of 2011. With an A.A.S. in Music Education/Music Merchandising from SUNY Onondaga, 20+ years of live and studio drumming experience, and having played over 1000 shows, Kevin has also been inspiring the youth of the Syracuse area teaching drums and percussion since 1999. Currently his studio can be found in the SubCat Music Studios complex at 219 West St in Syracuse, NY. In the summer of 2011, he rocked out with the kids as the drum instructor for Rock Camp in Syracuse, teaching hands on rock band interaction. Kevin proudly endorses Evans Drum Heads, Vic Firth Sticks and Soultone Cymbals.

Ron Keck

Ron began his extensive career studying music at Onondaga Community College and Syracuse University, and teaching private percussion lessons. For 25 years Ron taught the best and brightest percussion musicians in the Central New York area, gaining notoriety as one of the regions premiere instructors.Along with his private lessons, Ron composes and arranges for percussion. Through KDA Productions, Ron edited and mastered audio for 20 years, until founding SubCat Studios.

Cathy is a multi-instrumentalist who has studied at Berklee School of Music and Drummers Collective, as well as with private instructors throughout her career. She is also a two-time SAMMY award winner for her drumming with Joe Whiting, and Karen Savoca & the Mind’s Eye. She continues to work with several Syracuse artists including Donna Colton, Joe Whiting, The Neverly Brothers/ Flashcubes/ Fab Cats, Mark Doyle, George Rossi, and the Enzian Bavarian Band.With more than 35 years of experience Cathy has a lot to offer aspiring musicians, young and old.
